A material where the branded question is purity, not standardization

Most of this directory is extracts standardized to a marker. MSM is not: there is no secondary metabolite to assay, so what distinguishes a branded grade is distillation, purity and consistency. It is a useful corrective to the assumption that a percentage on a specification is always the interesting number — and a reminder that gram-scale materials change the format conversation before they change the formulation one.
